3. Appointments and Scheduling

3.1 Booking

Appointments can be made through our website, mobile app, phone, or in person at any of our branches. Availability is subject to scheduling and dentist availability.

3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling

Patients are required to provide at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee or affect your ability to book future appointments.

3.3 Late Arrivals

Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule their appointment to avoid delays for other patients.

3.4 No-Shows

Patients who fail to show up for scheduled appointments without prior notice may be subject to fees or restrictions on future bookings.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Methods

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, online payments, HMO coverage, and installment plans for qualified procedures.

4.2 Fees and Charges

All fees and charges will be discussed and agreed upon before treatment begins. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

4.3 HMO and Insurance

While we accept various HMO providers, coverage is subject to your plan's terms. Patients are responsible for any amounts not covered by their HMO or insurance.

4.4 Discounts

Senior citizen and PWD discounts are honored in accordance with Philippine law. Valid identification must be presented during payment.

5. Patient Responsibilities

Patients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete medical history information
  • Inform the dentist of any allergies, medications, or medical conditions
  • Follow post-treatment care instructions provided by the dentist
  • Maintain good oral hygiene and attend follow-up appointments as recommended
  • Pay for services rendered according to agreed payment terms
  • Treat staff and other patients with respect and courtesy

6. Medical Consent and Treatment

By receiving treatment at Dentacare Philippines, patients consent to:

  • Examination and diagnostic procedures including X-rays when necessary
  • Treatment recommended by the attending dentist
  • The possibility that additional treatment may be needed based on findings during procedures

Patients have the right to refuse treatment and will be informed of potential consequences of refusing recommended treatment.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

8. Limitation of Liability

Dentacare Philippines and its dentists will use reasonable care and skill in providing dental services. However, we cannot guarantee specific results from treatment. Dental procedures carry inherent risks that will be explained to patients before treatment.

Dentacare Philippines is not liable for complications arising from:

  • Patient's failure to disclose accurate medical history
  • Patient's failure to follow post-treatment care instructions
  • Patient's failure to attend follow-up appointments
  • Pre-existing conditions unknown to the treating dentist

9. Website Use

9.1 Intellectual Property

All content on the Dentacare Philippines website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Dentacare Philippines and protected by copyright laws.

9.2 User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose

10. Minors

Dental services for patients under 18 years of age require consent from a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian must be present during the initial consultation and for major procedures.
